Bernard Blanpain
Bernard Blanpain (°1964)Partner – Managing Director
Lawyer at the KUL, supplemented with a specialization European law in Nancy, he went through various management functions at BBL and ING in the office net and in the dealing room. From 2002, he was managing director private banking, responsible for the region Antwerp-Limburg-Leuven. In 2012, he became manager at an independent asset manager in Antwerp. Over the years, he has graduated in various degrees from the Vlerick Business School and also within the Private Banking Association. He is a “Certified Compliance Officer” recognized by Febelfin.

Kris Bauters
Kris Bauters (°1967)Partner – Managing Director
Kris graduated as bio-engineer, followed by an MBA at the Vlerick Business School. Afterwards, he also graduated as Investment Advisor at the EHSAL and Licentiate Property Studies at the KUL. He started his career at KBC as financial analyst and went on to work in the dealing room of KBC for 6 years as trader in derivative interest rate products. Since 2000, he has worked as senior private banker, first at KBC Private Banking until 2012 and ever since as independent asset manager from Antwerp.

Philippe Mahieu
Philippe Mahieu, CFA (°1971)Partner – Managing Director
Philippe is master TEW and CFA*-charterholder. As co-founder of the private asset management within Candriam Investors Group, he led a team of senior portfolio managers for over 15 years and he was part of the Global Investment Strategy Commitee. He teaches asset allocation and portfolio techniques at the Ehsal Management School. He is also the founder and jury member of the Investment Management Program at the Private Banking Association – Febelfin Academy, which provides the certification for this domain to Private Bankers in Belgium.

Linda Hofman
Linda Hofman (°1971)Partner – Managing Director
Linda has a master’s degree in Applied Economics, and she completed various training courses such as Certified Private Banker (2000). She started her career at Crédit Lyonnais/Deutsche Bank as an investment adviser and then became a Private Banker. She became Private Banker VHNWI at Dexia/Belfius in 2005 and joined an independent asset manager in 2012.

Gunter Hanefstingels
Gunter Hanefstingels (°1975)Partner – Managing Director
Gunter graduated at Thomas More in Accountancy. He got fascinated by the stock exchange during an internship (at ASLK Bank – now BNP Paribas Fortis) and decided to get extra education in finance (a.o. a Master in Portfolio Management at Vlekho). He started his career in 1997 as an investment advisor at BACOB (which has now become Belfius). In 1999 he switched to KBC Private Banking. The next step up was a position as Stock and Option advisor. In 2006 he left KBC for the startup of a private banking firm.

Steven Nuyts
Steven Nuyts, CFA (°1979)Partner – Chief Investment Officer
Steven has been trained as a Master Business Engineer Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA*) and Master in personal financial planning from the Antwerp Management School. Steven has over 10 years of experience in guiding clients in managing their assets. He started with three years as auditor and consultant at Deloitte and then became asset manager at ING Private Banking. During eight years at ING, he climbed up to the position of regional manager portfolio manager for one of the four zones. After that, Steven started working at an independent asset manager.

Steve Eduwaere
Steve Eduwaere (°1976)Senior Wealth Officer
Steve is a Certified Private Banker in Estate Planning and Investment Management. At Belfius, he took part in various internal and external training courses with regard to financial instruments, credits, insurance etc. In February 1999, he began his career at Artesia Bank and quickly moved on to the Private Banking department. After the fusion of Artesia Bank and Dexia, he helped develop the Private Banking segment. He ensured the provision of assistance to local branches of Dexia/Belfius and, as a Senior Wealth Manager, was responsible for the management of family assets in Flanders. In early 2018, Steve joined our team as a Senior Wealth Officer.

Marc Debaveye
Marc Debaveye (°1961)Senior Wealth Officer
Marc graduated from KUL as a lawyer, followed by a postgraduate degree in Taxation at EHSAL. Afterwards he obtained an MBA from Vlerick Business School. He started his career at Paribas Bank Belgium as a Financial Advisor and then became a Corporate Banker, active in West and East Flanders. At Belfius Bank he held various Senior Management positions in the fields of Private Banking & Wealth Management and in the domain of Public & Corporate Banking. Prior to holding his position in Public & Corporate banking, Marc was deputy-Head of Private banking. Contacts with and advice to very wealthy customers were always very important in this position!

Leen Vanwittembergh
Leen Vanwittembergh (°1981)Wealth Officer
Leen trained as a Business Translator/Interpretor and obtained a postgraduate degree in Business Communication. After catching the trading microbe from her father Eddy Vanwittembergh, a veteran with more than 40 years of experience as a Senior Private Banker and fund manager, she delved headlong into the subject matter. She completed the necessary training courses at Febelfin Academy and following a stellar track record for Colruyt Group she went to work as a relationship manager for an asset management firm. In July of 2020 Leen joined our team as a Wealth Officer to contribute to the continued expansion of FinFactor.

Luc Postelmans
Luc Postelmans (°1961) Senior Wealth OfficerLuc obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Thomas Moore university college in Mechelen. Later he also completed several training courses, a.o. at Febelfin Academy. He started his
career in 1981 at what was then still called Kredietbank. As an advisor in the Borsbeek branch he quickly acquired a taste for everything involving investments. In 1991 he became Chief Inspector
Savings and Investments for the Herentals branch. In 1998 he became a Private Banker at the Turnhout branch only to return to Herentals where KBC had established a new Private Branking branch.
In 2006 he made the switch to Société Générale Private Banking (formerly Bank De Maertelaere) as a Private Banker. In 2018 Société Générale Private Banking was acquired by ABN Amro Private banking. Luc joined FinFactor in 2021 as Senior Wealth Officer.

Jackie Beuten
Jackie Beuten (°1956)Senior Business Officer
In 1985, Jackie started as office manager of the Dexia Group. In 2009, at the end of his career at Dexia, he had become Regional Director-Administrator and was responsible for a number of offices in Maasland. He also looked after the private banking segment. Subsequently, he looked after the commercial relations of an Antwerp asset management company. He has been a part of our team since November, 2016. He will help us further expand FinFactor.

Stijn Deley
Stijn Deley (°1976)Senior Business Officer
Stijn obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance as well as a Master’s in Financial Management. Later he added the Advisor Financial Planning training programme at UAMS to his curriculum and in 2010 he became a Certified Private Banker. He launched his professional career as an investment adviser with Artesia Bank. Subsequently he joined the insurance department of ING where he advised entrepreneurs and liberal professions. In 2008 he switched to KBC Private Banking where he concentrated primarily on advisory management for families and entrepreneurs. In 2015 KBC promoted him to the position of Wealth Manager. As of 2020 he is part of our team and he will contribute to the further expansion of FinFactor.

Natacha Claes
Natacha Claes (°1977)Compliance officer
Natacha obtained a degree in Communication Management from Thomas More Community College in Mechelen.
After her studies she joined the branch network of the then BBL (now ING) in September of 1998 where she built experience in a variety of functions, gradually specialising in Risk and Compliance matters. She advanced to Non-Financial Risk Officer Midcorporates and Institutionals for the Antwerp/Louvain region before taking up a new challenge as a Compliance Officer with Bank of India Antwerp in 2017.
In January 2019 she became a Certified Compliance Officer at Febelfin and in April 2019 she was recruited by Delen Private Bank as a Risk Manager.
She is recognised by the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) in Belgium as a Certified Compliance Officer and joined our team in March 2021.

Rudy Wijckmans
Rudy Wijckmans (°1965)Office Assistant
Rudy began his career as an office clerk at Bank Brussels Lambert (BBL, now part of the ING Group) in 1987. He then worked as a commercial assistant at ING Private Banking for ten years. In this capacity, he provided assistance to private bankers and asset managers, for instance when placing securities orders and when managing cash positions. He has been employed at FinFactor since April 2017. He ensures the transfer and follow-up of securities orders and answers any practical questions. This way, he gives you, the customer, peace of mind.
